Posted on 26 May 2009 by Darkmajin

Dragonball GT is the sequel to Dragonball Z series. These dvd’s were only $2.00 each at Anime North. And being a big Dragonball fan that I am, I simply couldn’t just leave them there to collect dust. These DVD s are entitled Revelations and Calculations. They are solely focused on the Super 17 Sega. Android Super 17 was created by the two master-mind scientists, Dr. Gero, and Dr. Myuu. Both these professors have crossed paths and had their evil plans stopped by Goku, who is the protagonist in this anime series. These professors developed Super 17 to kill Goku. Super 17 proves to be a challenge to the Z fighters. So will Goku be the one to save earth again or will he receive some unexpected help?

Alien Nine: Manga

Posted on 07 May 2009 by Jago

I was at Chapters when I first found the title. It was on one of those “newly arrived” racks when I picked it up. Judging by the cover was all I could do. I flipped through a few pages and thought the artwork was quite interesting. I read the beginning and was quite confused at first. Eventually, they’ll introduce the characters and concept of the book.

Ah! My Goddess: The Movie OST

Posted on 06 May 2009 by Jago

I remember AMG being the first Japanese dubbed anime I’ve ever watched. Just shortly after the 5 OVA’s were released, I got a hold of the movie. The storyline was inspiring, which lead to my purchase of the OST back at the same FanExpo Canada 2004. The soundtrack has 26 tracks including a bonus track. Pioneer Entertainment has got to be one of the best companies out there!

Happy Lesson: Manga

Posted on 06 May 2009 by Jago

I found this DVD on sale way back at FanExpo Canada 2004. There was just this one lying in the stands when I decided to pick it up. I heard about the OVA they released; sadly when I purchased it, I didn’t know this wasn’t it. The DVD includes 5 episodes of Happy Lesson, with Character Sketches as a bonus feature. I ended up using Japanese dubbing and English subtitles, since the English dubbing was terrible!
