I’ve been anticipating this game since the launch back in July 2011 but the price has always been a little too high for me. I’ve waited 6 months for a price drop and it never happened. Here’s how I got a major deal.

I was waiting for my movie to start when I strolled into an EBGames store. As natural, I went straight to the “C” section and search for Catherine. As I expected, the Recycled version is priced at $54.99 still.

Frustrated, I began to search through the whole “C” section for another copy when I stumbled onto a “New” version priced at $39.99!

Obviously I was already at the counter checking out! The cashier kept telling another co-worker somebody had “goofed our prices”. Surprisingly they took out the game from the back counter and brought out all the “extras”.

The Game + Artbook and Soundtrack for the price of $39.99? I hit jackpot! I went home to investigate the price discrepancy and here was what I discovered.
